Online learning is rapidly growing in Minnesota. Students in kindergarten, grade 12 and anywhere in-between now have the opportunity to learn online in Minnesota. Students can enroll full time or choose to take only a course or two online.

Online learning can provide opportunities for students who might not have access to them otherwise. A student may wish to take a class or program not offered at his or her school or perhaps a student is homebound and cannot attend school in a traditional way.

Online Learning provides a means for students to continue, expand or enhance their education.

Currently more than a dozen school districts in Minnesota offer online learning programs and more than 30 percent of schools offer some courses online.
