K-12 ONLINE OFFERS OPPORTUNITY

Online learning is rapidly growing in Minnesota. Students in every community and at every level from kindergarten through grade 12 have a wide variety of opportunities to learn online in Minnesota. Students can enroll full time or choose to take only a course or two online.

Online learning can meet a range of student needs: courses not otherwise available, flexible scheduling, credit recovery, enrichment, acceleration, special topics and personalized learning.

Currently more than a 30 school districts in Minnesota offer online learning programs and more than 30 percent of schools offer some courses online.

Membership meetings occur on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 AM and are recorded. Representatives of online programs approved by the Minnesota Department of Education as well as representatives of schools and school districts are also welcome to attend.
